    Windows & gadgets missing


    hi.
    can someone help me,i can't find windows 7 gadgets...
    right click on desktop - gadgets ...nothing happens.
    i tryed with UAC but still nothing.
    i went in control panel -desktop gadgets...it won't open...
    anyone have some advice?

    Search
    type in Restore Desltop Gadgets
    click on it

    Check and see if "Windows Gadgets Platform" is checked in "Turn windows features on and off". (Orb > search "features" will bring up the link for it.)

    actually it is turned on i mean checked...i really dont know what is wrong with gadgets.

    Try a complet re-boot (restart) of computer, then come back here .

    What version of Win7, 32 bit or 64 bit, Where did you get win7, how did you install it ?

    Windows 7 Ultimate,32 bit,activated....clean install...its my new pc...i never had another os on it.

Gadgets gone missing

I just have to have the weather and the calender which hides the watermark. But they keep vanishing. UAC is still on default setting and show icons is also checked. Seems to have started after some windows updates,but not sure. Just happens randomly. I reported it as a bug. Wondering if anyone else...
