Other Taskbar Always On Top Threads Are "Too Old"

Since links are blocked for bots and perhaps lurkers like myself, I registered for the sole purpose of getting at the linked solutions mentioned on these threads:

Taskbar Always On Top - Disable or Enable
DisableTaskbarOnTop - disable taskbar always on top

    Only to find these messages:

"Notice: The last post in this thread was 1672 days ago. If your post is not directly related to this discussion please consider making a new thread.

I was able to run a game in windowed mode and have it on top of the task bar just a few months ago and now I can't. I am sure I'm not imagining this as I did not own this game prior to this year.

Are there any NEW solutions to this issue other than Auto-Hide?

We don't block links to guests, the threads that you have linked to no longer work so were removed.

    Hi and welcome to SevenForums,
See if the F11 key works with games.... to toggle in or out of full screen mode
    Cheers.

I guess you are talking about windowed borderless mode. Not all games have that option. You have to check the game settings, search forums.

Googling, there is this app - Windowed Borderless Gaming

Steam forums dedicated to the app - General Discussions :: Windowed Borderless Gaming

Games that are supported are in the forums.

Nice I was just about to make a thread about this. There was a reg fix for taskbar not always going into the background when using fullscreen program. Fullscreenborderless doesn't have anything to do with the issue.
