    Acer Pre-Boot Splash Screen


    Can any tell me if and how the preboot splash screen can be changed.

    The one that flash's "Acer" or "HP" before the Boot screen.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Check in the BIOS configuration for such an option. Usually there isn't. Otherwise changing the boot image is very difficult, and risky.

    I'm preprepared to do anything necessary my files are backed up.. But my bios has a password and I don't know what it is?
    If it involves the bios there may be a problem

    The splash screen is displayed by the BIOS. If the BIOS does not support changing it, and most don't, the only possibility is a modified BIOS. This is for hard core experts only, most of whom would know better than to try. Far beyond my abilities.
