    Hiyya Giova mate hit tutorials at the top of this page and type in this "how do i personalise icons in 7" (without quotes) and there are few options you can try.

    Maybe it was misunderstanding:Ρ Ι want to change the "personalize" icon (and the "windows update" icon), not icons generally!

    Are you talking about the ones in the control panel? If not where are the icons located at, post a screenshot of them and tell us where the locations are.

    Personalization

    C:\Windows\System32\themecpl.dll\Icon folder #1
    and
    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\themecpl.dll\Icon folder #1

    Update

    C:\Windows\system32\wucltux.dll\Icon folder #1
