    Win7 64 - Blue panel backgrounds drives me crazy...


    Hey, I'm trying to change my OS from WinXP to Win7 but there is something I hate in Win7.. its blue doom


    Where can I change this crap colors? in shellstyle.dll or aero.dll?
    Found something in shellstyle.dll, I thing its there but where exactly I dont know

    I would recommend that you start a new custom theme from scratch so you do not corrupt the original look at Post #38 Here it will show you how.
    It makes it a custom theme so you will need to do 1 of these 2 ways of Enabling custom themes for it to work.

    Changed 659 and 671 but 903 somehow doesn't work for bottom...

    903 should be right.

    Zip up the .msstyles and post it here.

    One more thing, some applications show blue menu bar background, like regedit.exe, Can I change it inside .msstyle too?

    Hmmm under 1099 I found button arrow img ;P

    ps. Is there a possibility to change entire background folder color (white) by using resource hacker??
