change the color of the date/time in the systray
Without a third party program, is there a way to change the color of the date and time in the systray?
If not, is there a good freeware program that I can do just that?
Thanks!

Maybe you can do it but I don't know how. Personally I use third party software - T Clock 2010
It's no longer updated and the project has been abandoned but it still works.
T-Clock 2010 (download) - DonationCoder.com

If you want it to work properly you need an Elevated Shortcut in your Startup Programs folder.
I don't think so. The only way I know is by Windows Style Builder, which isn't supposed to be free but you can easily find the full version with a little searching.
If you have/get WSB, see this post for instructions:
Can I change text size in the taskbar?
If there is another way then it would probably require having a program running all the time.
edit: crossposted with Callender. Yes now I remember T-Clock..that program wasn't for me.
Thank you both for your replies! I will try T-Clock first, and if that's not to my needs, I'll give Windows Style Builder a shot, I found a video on youtube about that program, when I was researching this issue before posting.
try TTClock
??????? - software
I will try that one as well, Bugija, thank you very much. I am at work while I've been posting this, I'll be home in about 2 hours and see what works for me!
Just a note to say that you can see what TTclock looks like if you read this thread:
Can I find out what process has hooked my taskbar?
