Just wondering why you would need an external program to prevent windows from going to sleep....Why don't you just change the settings under power management? that is what I did on my HTPC that i often use to download large files...I just have it set to never go to sleep, but turn the monitor off after a certain amount of time

I want to do so whenever I'm listening to music, which is usually through Winamp or Pandora (either through the web interface or the standalone player). I want my laptop to not sleep as long as music is playing, then once I stop, return the laptop to its usual power management settings.

Yes, I can manually turn power management on and off whenever I start and stop a music player, and right now that's all I can do. I'll have to keep doing so until there's a Windows facility (ha!) or 3rd-party utility to do it. Since I turn music on and off repeatedly through the day, also toggling power management is a huge hassle.
