    How to change notification area background color (hidden icons area)?


    Hy,
    I used Windows 10 Transformation Pack on my Windows 7 and it changed some icons white... which is nice when I see them against my dark taskbar, but is completely invisible in that rectangle of hidden icons of the notification area.
    I would like to make that area dark like my taskbar, to see the icons properly, but I could not find any way.

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    I'm guessing that no one has tried doing such a thing, therefore no one knows the answer to your question.

    Post a link to the theme or put the .mstyles (you'll find it in the theme folder located at C:\Windows\Resources\Themes) in the zip folder and posted here and I should be able to help then.

    Attached is the entire Themes Folder (you will find even the default windows themes inside). I thought to pack it all, just in case.

    Switch to a different theme like the default aero theme then log off and then log back on.

    Download and extract the zip file below to your desktop.

    Replace the metro.msstyles in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Windows 10 with the one in the zip folder and you should be good to go.

Old Icons in Notification Area

Hello everyone. I have been looking at those old inslalled icons in my notification area and have noticed that they are quite numeral to say the least. :rolleyes: Can anyone here help me do this without much complication? Thanks :D
Two quick questions. How do I change the icons and the shutdown thing as shown in the attachments. The shutdown thing looks so bad!
Did someone of you allready recognized that even after uninstalling several programs the icon is still shown in the Notification Area Icons Options? Even when it was just one time used the icon is shown. Is there a way to delete those old entrys out of the Notification Area Icon...
