How to sort the view of files individually?

So I have my Pictures folder with several subfolders, they are sorted to be viewed by name. Now I want the subfolders to be sorted by Date modified. How can I do this? I have tried to do it with no luck, as everytime I change the Sort option the rest of folders change too.
    Please help, thank you!

I understand your frustration - I actually set my filenames for my thousands of images to be the creation date to get round this issue in the file manager (I use reverse order YYYYMMDDHHMMSS for full control).

I just use the file manager for quick searches and use a proper image manager to perform serious work with images - I use Adobe Lightroom CC but others are available. Including the Adobe Bridge File Manager which unlike Lightroom is available for Free

It’s True: Adobe Bridge CC Is Completely Free for Everyone, for Life! | ProDesignTools

Take a look and you will see that much finer control is available even to the level of grouping files together by all sorts of internal metadata including dates , camera model, etc etc

Yes, naming files with dates in that order has always been a good idea, I had always done it like that with my folders, however some of my files need to have names for easy access, so that is not an option for every single file.
I do use Lightroom, as it is my favorite photography program. I will see how Adobe Bridge File Manager is like though.
    Thank you!
I still had hope the different folders could be sorted differently from my pictures folder U_U

I think that ability went with XP, along with the manual sort option. The advantage of bridge over lightroom is that it works on the fly so there is no need to create the catalogue when you just need a quick check on files. You can also set metadata to show the same as lightroom for color tags etc
