    Remembering desktop icon locations - is there an application\method?


    Hi,

    Using desktop re-directs to a server and on occasion desktop icons revert to the left of the screen rather than as organised by the user (I know its little things...:))

    Ive juggled with turning off auto arrange etc but it doesn't seem to fix the problem. I was wondering if anyone is aware of a free solution which will remember the icon location if they decide to go astray?

    Icons also get jiggled when you go to Safe Mode. I use a utility called DesktopRestore.
