Custom boot animation on EFI system

I want to make a custom boot animation because the default one gets pretty boring. There is a program called Win7 Boot Updater (Coder for Life - Project - Windows 7 Boot Updater), but it doesn't work on bootmgr.efi, which is used by my system.

My system was originally a Win10 laptop I bought like 2 years ago. However, I "downgraded" to Win7 because MS screwed up. Also, please don't tell me I wasn't supposed to do that.

When I search for bootmgr, there are two files: C:\Windows\Boot\PCAT\bootmgr and C:\Windows\Boot\EFI\bootmgr.efi. As I said, my system seems to be using the second one. Is there any way to change that so win7boot will work or can you change the boot animation manually?

I'm bumping this to get it more attention. I looked up the link you provided and it seemed iffy at best for doing what you wanted.

Yeah, but it's the only tool I found.

I've been using Windows 7 Boot Updater for a long time and it is great but I was recently trying to use it on a new Windows 7 installation formatted as GPT which requires UEFI and like you found it doesn't support UEFI. Anyone know how to customize the boot animation on UEFI?

Sorry about that. I didn't read far enough.

This one seems to be more applicable-
