How to make the Taskbar buttons wider?

I've recently got a higher resolution monitor where everything looks smaller. I've increased the Windows text size to 110%, so the text looks better. But now, all the buttons on the Taskbar don't seem wide enough, and text is being truncated.

I've already found one tutorial which said to edit the registry and increase the value of "MinWidth" in WindowMetrics. But when I do this (and restart) nothing happens.

    Hello Marty,

You could use the method in the tutorial below to change the width of your taskbar buttons.
