    Need help with Classic Shell

First, to say that I tried to register at the official forum but the registration page is broken there.

I recently installed Classic Shell and am having the following problems, if anyone could help?

    1. My main problem is that I wanted an "Up" button. Classic Shell has added an "Up" button to Windows Explorer, but the button doesn't appear in the "Save As" dialog of any programs. That's where I wanted it the most.

    2. Some of my Start Menu items are now highlighted orange.

    3. The main Explorer menu is now visible (File Edit View Tools Help). This shouldn't be visible as "Always Show Menu" is unchecked in my Folder Options.

    Thanks! I'll ask there then!

I had no idea Classic Shell had been superseded. I spent a long time looking on the Classic Shell website and the forum, and there's no mention anywhere at all there about it!

I think it is because win 10 is frequently releasing new versions. The original developer didn't want to have to keep changing it.

It's funny that you didn't mention Open Shell on the other thread where you told me about Classic Shell. Is this something you only just found out about yourself?

No. I kept it secret from you.
