    [1] If you right-click it, what information do you get?
    [2] Is it a shortcut of some kind?

    Hi Paul & shortcuts can be deleted manually, not this.
    It's probably somewhere in the registry .. .

    Unrelated: i tried to set everything to remove the -read only unsuccessfully.

    I don't know what's wrong there. What would happen logically, is that you would be able to go to this location:
    C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop
    Right click in an empty spot, go to Properties, check the Location tab and restore the default one (like here and here). But since your case is looking messes up, I don't know.

    as ???????????????????........ .

    something should be wrong there ? no..

    i just need to get rid of that icon. & it leads to desktop folder ? LOGIC..

    i just don't need it

    lol at restoring the default one, ur high as..

    anyone can name its user folder this or that or administrator.. the path is ok, ur replys totally indirect.
