Are you talking about adding a video to a dreamscene theme that you've installed?

Have you considered using the Contact option here-

dreamscene.org - Gallery/Download - free Windows 7 Themes and Desktop Slideshows

Maybe I'm still not getting it but it sounds to me like you want the video to be the default background for your desk top and you want to do that by running some kind of batch file that's part of the startup.

Either way, I'm not qualified to provide an answer.

I was hoping one of the other persons in the forum would jump in.

Sorry about that.

I don't know how set you are on using Dreamscene but this appears to be a viable alternative-

Set a Video as Your Desktop Wallpaper with VLC

It was such a possibility.

There are a few other threads in this forum concerning DreamScene in which people are using background videos but I don't see where anyone identified how to permanently make the video background.

It's unusual for other helpers in this forum to not jump in but, it's apparent that they won't.

How do I use DreamScene without Aero?
I don't really like the way Aero slows down my computer so much, but I'd like to be able to use DreamScenes (Yes, I know DreamScenes slow it down too, but at least it only does it when I see the desktop). I downloaded a fix that enables DreamScene on Windows 7, but it still needs Aero to function....
