    Customize Wmp?


    As you see in this image i want to add my own background picture in windows media player, how is this done? thanks for any help guys, i'm new to this forum, some nice stuff here.

    By opening %windir%\system32\wmploc.dll in Restorator. In the left hand pane of Restorator 2007, expand the folder 257 and scroll down and find the bunch of files named LIBRARY_BACKGROUND….PNG.

    Assign a new image to LIBRARY_BACKGROUND7.PNG

    Hope this helps!

    Oh, make sure that the hex value under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences, is 6

    I'll have to try this now soon, yeah i see the standard 6 images in there now, cheers for the very fast response will try it now. cheers.

    Yeah new install, got to transfer it all over, i'm really liking windows 7 i got to admit. i'll mark topic as solved if i can figure out how. cheers once more.
