Make Sticky Notes stick on the desktop...

All right...here's a puzzle. I love the Sticky Notes application. But it get's really annoying when I over over the Show Desktop button, I only see my gadgets! Sticky Notes gets hidden because Windows sees it as an application and not a gadget (which is right).

    Anyway to add this functionality?

If i'm not mistaken, in vista days Sticky notes was actually a gadget, don't hold me to that. In my brief experience with vista before my return to XP I think I saw it. You may be able to export that version of sticky notes or search for one online.

    No, there is one! :)

I've tried it out and it's far smaller, not as customizable, and a larger resource hog.

*cough*I think this is the customization section, right?*cough*

OK, easier question. Can I 'remamp' the function of hovering over the Show Desktop button? I already have the code needed,

    Set Win = CreateObject ("Shell.Application")
    Win.MinimizeAll
Is there like a file that is activated when you hover over that button? Can I switch it with this VBS script?

What is the purpose of Sticky Notes if they don't stay on the desktop until deleted?

    They do.

I just ended up finding a gadget (longer sticky notes is the name) and it works well. :)

Shoot, I had the wrong name; that's probably why, lol!

    It's called just "Longer Notes."
