changing image of password/ login screen
You can change the lock/boot screen on Win7 by adding the following key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Authentication\LogonUI\Background Add a DWord value to that key of OEMBackground = 1. Finally, create a JPG < 250k of the correct size for your default resolution named backgroundDefault.jpg and place it in: C:\Windows\System32\oobe\info\Backgrounds Now when you lock or boot you will have a customized image. Have not tried it my self but saw it somewhere, i dont know if this has been posted but im sure a lot of people would be interested. |
