    Startup Orb Change?

I was looking around, and apparently it's fairly simple to change the startup orb in Vista.

I'm running 64bit 7 Professional and found out the hard way that the process isn't the same (to resolve, I actually had to remove the HD from my laptop, plug it into a portable HD shell, and delete the file on another computer).

    Does anyone have any ideas?

I wanted to use this as my startup orb:

    Checkout this tutorial
    Start Menu Button - Change
but make sure you read it thru as a lot of people had some issues with this

Make sure you set a restore point before you start and be sure to return permissions as they were before you reboot or explorer will fail to start

I don't want to change the start button, I want to change the boot-screen startup orb.

I mean, I'd like to change the start button too, but I've seen a bunch of tutorials for that.

I haven't seen ANY Win7 startup orb tutorials though.

    Thanks!
