    Hello Blaklite,

    Sorry, but you cannot get rid of that toolbar in Windows Explorer. It's basically the same as the one in Vista, but with a few more features instead.

    Actually, there is a way. Works for Vista too.

    1. Download Reshack
    2. In Reshack, navigate to: C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero\Shell\NormalColor (If you're using another theme, navigate to that folder)
    3. Backup, then open Shellstyle.dll
    4. Navigate to: UIFILE\1\1033
    5. Search for: <style resid="FolderBandStyle">
    6. Under that, you'll find:
      <Element

      background="argb(0, 0, 0, 0)"

      />
    7. Change it to:
      <Element

      background="argb(0, 0, 0, 0)"

      padding="rect(0rp,0rp,0rp,-32rp)"

      />
    8. Click Compile Script and save it somewhere as Shellstyle.dll, then copy to C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero\Shell\NormalColor and overwrite the original.

    Let me know if you have any questions!:)
