Windows 7 italic font problems
Hi guys,
I have a little issue with my new OS-WINDOWS 7 Professional. It seems like all my default fonts, even from my browsers, are set to a nasty Italic style. I am tired of this and I want to change it, but I don't know how and why is this happening.I am not sure but I think this font came with an automatic upgrade. It's even in my Microsoft Word.Even now when I write the font is set to Italic(Times New Roman-my guess). So if anyone of you knows anything about this please let me know.I'll appreciate it! P.S: If you know that the cause is an upgrade made earlier please write it's name. ![]() |

Least start out first by looking at what could have caused the problem. What did you upgrade that may have caused this to happen? Was it an upgrade or an update to a specific program or to the OS?
First thing is determine what caused the problem then remove the program/application to see if the problem goes away. If you did not disable "System Restore" then you can attempt to Restore the system to a time before this problem started; usually the easiest way. Please post back if neither of these help. Good Luck ![]() |

Hi, type into the Start Search box, Change Font, and then open it and select
Restore Default Font settings, close it and reboot , and see if if that helps. |

Hi. I have struggled with this problem for MONTHS!! I' have tried everything. Even my 'restore default fonts' button would not work. I discovered that somehow my MS sans serif font had been removed. I found this website, [Fix] Bold and Italic Font Problem in Windows - AskVG
and downloaded the font repair file under the #4 solution and IT IS FIXED!!!!!! I cannot tell you how happy I am. I hope this works for someone else. All the best. |
