Win 7 Slide Bar

Vista used to allow me to move the slide bar to the left side of my screen. Yesterday I upgraded to Win 7 and so far I find one draw back. I can not find how to move the slide bar to the left and I need to. Can anyone help me?

Vista Ult 64 bit Seven Ult RTM x64

Hello Erick,

Welcome to 7 Forums.

I'm guessing you mean the taskbar.

Sounds like you may have the taskbar locked. Rt. click on an empty space on taskbar and deselect 'lock the taskbar'.

Taskbar - Move Location on Desktop Screen

Hope this helps.

Thank you

I did not mean task bar, I meant slide bar for gadgets, I did figure out that in win 7 you have to move each gadget individualy. Unlike vista, there is no option to move them at once. Thank you anyway.

There is a way to get the sidebar back in 7 if you have a copy of Vista to get the files from. Info here. Vista Windows Sidebar - Reinstate on Windows 7

There are some links to other gadget tutorials there also.
