thnx for the reply! but it didn't work. BTW i found a simaler topic on this problem: Making the Taskbar Thinner on the Left Side

haven't tried it yet because i have no games installed XD, i will try it tommorow! altough i don't like the idea of doing this every startup for a thin taskbar..

Is there a method/hack or a 3rd-party program that allows the user to hide the taskbar by dragging its top border line downwards, after un-locking the taskbar? I remember I could do that under Win9x.
