    Customization Programs

What are some programs out there that'll produce .msstyles? Something like Stardock's windowblinds, but for making windows themes? Also, I'm not talking about making minor themes, but rather messing with the resources and stuff. Thanks.

Yeah, I've been looking at the Customization forum for a while.

Is there anyway I can get in contact with them? Or do they come to check here regularly?

    Okay, thanks.

Anyway, I want to get into skinning, advanced skinning. I'm pretty good with photoshop and if I can't get it done, I know some good gfxers who can help me, but that's beside the point.

What tools do I need to start making my own themes? I'll give you some examples of what I'm trying to get to:

AeroVG Se7en for Windows 7 by =Vishal-Gupta on deviantART
Windows 7 Darkclear by ~caeszer on deviantART
    Win7-Blend for Windows 7 v1.8 by ~zainadeel on deviantART
:: Green Spirit VS :: by ~DjabyTown on deviantART
Gaia09 VS for Seven 2 by ~jg-visuals on deviantART
Dynamic Black ::: by ~DjabyTown on deviantART

It's not only changed things like the start orb, but other things like minimize, enlarge, close buttons. I want to do things, but not limited to, those like up there. What other tweaks can you do?

Also if you could link some work of your guy's, it might help me bring up more questions or know what its limited to for now.

    Thanks.

Edit: Went to your site in your signature, looked at a few styles, adding onto my previous question:

    http://www.sg9designs.virtualcustoms...hread.php?t=35
    http://www.sg9designs.virtualcustoms...thread.php?t=9

They've got the taskbar with some extra design, how can you do that?

    http://www.sg9designs.virtualcustoms...hread.php?t=37

That guy completely redid the start menu and taskbar, I want to know how to do that too.

    Thanks again.

You' can't learn how to theme by others. You learn better doing it by yourself, and keep trying till you get it right.

First off, you will need WSB to make the themes with.

No. Just the restorator way, which TBH sucks big time compared to WSB

That leads to my next question:

What system files do you edit? I know some elements like the start orb is explorer.exe, but what else is there?
