    disabling automatic window rearrangement

I have a small monitor and decided to disable the aero "automatic window arrangement" feature (Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the mouse easier to use -> Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moving to the edge of the screen) because I too often would bump windows against the top and bottom of the screen by accident. It's a nice feature, but only on a large monitor.

Problem: This also seems to disable aero shake, which is actually quite useful, even on a small monitor.

Has anyone else found this to be the case? Shouldn't the two features be controllable independently?

If you accidentally bump the edge of the screen, just back up a bit and the "snap" won't happen. Easier than turning it off, IMHO.
