    Laptop or monitor?
    Laptop
    Right click desktop.
    Select 'Graphics Properties'
    Color Correction
    Brightness control - turn down.

    Desktop
On the monitor, consult the manual for how to change the display properties.
If there is the same option for the laptop solution, just do the same.

Fn Key would be found on a laptop keyboard, your using Desktop so its not applicable.

How about using your monitor settings?Brightness, contrast and all that...if u r using lcd there must be and settings like for movie, internet, games etc..or make one by yourself. Faster than that...
