    Help changing from windows aero basic


    Hi all, just a quick question, there was an update intsalled, so it changed the windows aero thing to basic, and I dont know how to change it back! Please help me turn it back to aero, cause the windows aero basic thing I really dont like. Please help!

    Go to Performance Information and Tools and re-run your "Windows Experience Index". That happened to me after new video drivers were installed by windows update. After Re-running the index Aero was back to normal.

Basically, Had to reinstall windows. Updated my Mobo, CPU and RAM. I've noticed that after around 20 mins, aero changes to the basic theme, upon me nudging the mouse it changes back to Aero. Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Mobo i5 2500K CPU 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 RAM
