    - Is there any way to increase the indentation size in the Windows7 version back to what it is in WindowsXP?
Yes, there is: TVM_SETINDENT Message ()
I may make it a customizable setting for the next version of Classic Shell. I don't know when there will be a new version though. Might be 2-3 weeks from now.
Yikes - that's a bit too technical for me... !
If/when it makes it into a new version please give me shout :)

    Hi

I am still intensely frustrated by the Windows Explorer!
I VERY MUCH prefer the way the WindowsExplorer in Windows XP works.

i.e. When you navigate up and down the folders tree (in the left hand frame of the window) in Windows7 the position on the screen of the selected folder LEAPS up and down the screen. This is particularly true when you do a cursor-right to open an new directory.

Also it is a pain that when you select a new folder in the left hand frame of the window, that the contects of that folder fail to automatically appear in the right hand frame!

Aaaaaarrrgggh! Why did they change this - WindowsXP's explorer was SO much better. [Grrrr]

I'd personally dual boot with XP if you miss the old Explorer User Interface. :)

Or run a VHD of XP IN your Windows 7.

If I can think of any Software/Applications that can "reverse" the Explorer Look & Feel, I'll be sure to inform you.

[I understand that not everyone is prepared for change, but if you honestly Love the "old", share the "old" with the new. It's the easiest way to accept change.]

Sorry no - a dual boot is going too far!

I want to navigate around Win7 properly and then run things IN Win7 - that's the whole point of having Win7, no ?

The latest Classic Shell solves 2 of your problems. You can make the file panel sync every time you move up/down the folders, and you can make the sub-folders be offset by the full size of the folder.

I looked at the folders jumping down, but it is most likely a bug in Explorer and I haven't found a way to work around it.
