    Wanted: Genius

Is there anyone out there that can write a tutorial on how to make Avast AV sounds default in the sounds themes?

    Hello Seven,

If you are using Avast Home Edition, then is should already be in Sounds to choose what you want.

If you are using Avast beta, then the sounds are now only available to turn on or off from within Avast and not from within Sounds.

    Hope this helps some,

Every time I change my desktop theme I have to manually re- assign the avast sounds.
I also have to change the mouse pointer as well.
I have sounds enabled in the avast settings

You might uninstall the Home Edition and use the latest 5.0.366 Beta version instead then. Since it manages it's own sounds, you will not have to worry about them changing each time you change your theme as well.

    OR

You could save your sound theme, to select it to make it easier to restore it all at once instead of one by one.

    I went for option 1.
I could of went for option 2, but, option 2 was the same lnk as option 1.
I would like to report that my avast sounds are working as they should!
Also, when I re-booted after the installation, my computer logged on to the internet immediately, this is a first since I installed Windows 7.
    Thanks Brink!
