    Automatic sorting in folders

When I moved a file from one folder to another in my old computer (XP) it ended up at the end of the folder and stayed there until I clicked on F5 or closed and opened the folder again. When I do the same in Windows 7, it almost immediately ends up in alpabetic order. That is good sometimes, but when I have to add a date to the filename and the file "disappears" from my view, it's not good. If I have a folder with a couple of hundred files it's sometimes hard to find the one I am looking for.

Can I turn the automatic sorting off? I'd rather have it as it was before, if I want the files to show in alphabetical order I click F5.

Good question. I'd like to know too.

No doubt automatic sorting is great for most users, but some of us know about F5 and prefer to use it. I'd like to have the option of which one to choose.
