    Aero Previews

Hi all, i was just wandering if is there any way to make the Aero previews actually "Real Time" while the window is minimized?

I find the previews useless if you cant have a real-time preview wile the window is minimized.

Just think, you are Downloading something and you want to be monitoring the download, but you dont want the window to be on the screen, so you minimize it and later you place the cursor on the task bar entry and you get a snapshot of the window... so you have to restore the window to see the real % that has been downloaded.

in KDE/Linux you can set "Keep window thumbnails -> always (breaks minimization) " and im wondering if is there any registry key or program that would do the same in win7.

PS i know that that will affect the computer performance so please do not tell me

Hmm, you seem to be right. I didn't read where you said minimized. Sorry about that.

I don't think you can change that.

    aero preview...

It is up to the application to determine whether it updates itself when minimized. Most do not because there is no point in taking resources for something not being seen or used. For example Windows Media Player will not up date itself when playing a song and visualization, however, it will update when playing a video.
