change location where windows puts files on desktop

Had a search for this, cant find anything.

I have rainmeter running on the left hand side of my screen, but when ever windows puts something on my desktop, like a download, shortcut, uncompressed file etc, etc. It always puts it on the top left of the desktop.

Is there any way to change this, as its annoying trying to select the icon, or moving rainmeter out of the way to get to it.

    thanks.

Couldn't you move rainmeter to the right side as a default location?
