toggle gadgets on/off?

I'm wondering if there is a way to toggle on/off the gadgets? I know you can right click and show gadgets or hide them, but I'm trying to find a way to use a hotkey to toggle them on or off.

Any ideas??

Not at the moment...No keyboard shortcut is able to perform that functionality.:)

btw, welcome to seven forums!
Here is what you do. Right click on the desktop, click on view, and disable or enable show desktop gadgets.

That would be cool....but as far as I know, there is no way to do it. :)

Create two batch files, put shortcuts to desktop.

Batch 1 (gadgets ON):

Code:

C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe

Batch 2 (gadgets OFF):

Code:

taskkill /F /IM sidebar.exe

Works.
