    Can't replace shell32.dll

OK, so I've taken ownership of the file and renamed it to Shell32.dll.bak. When I go to drag the new shell32.dll into the System32 folder, it asks me to overwrite shell32.dll, and then tells me that I can't. Am I missing something here?

See this thread to enable administrator account.

Log onto administrator account and try to overwrite from there. Not positive it will work but worth a try.

If I'm not wrong according to the Article in order to applying the Custom theme they recommned to Take Ownership for the whole Windows Folder

Well, I got it to work. I took ownership of the entire Windows folder, and then tried to replace it, and it still said no. I use TeraCopy as my main file copier, but when I turned if off, it worked.

    Thanks for the help guys!
