    Remove Quick Launch Text

    Hi all

    Just upgraded to Win 7
I found a link to get Quick Launch Toolbar back
But I would like to get rid of the text "Quick Launch"
Is there a registry hack to do that?

    Thanks

Quick Launch - Enable or Disable

    (Step 6)
    Right click toolbar and Unlock
Right click again and Turn off text
    Then lock it again

    Thanks

I think your instructions below are for turning off display off the text of each icon or shortcut on the Quick Launch Toolbar.

I am actually trying to turn off the the text showing the name of th toolbar "Quick Launch"

    Thanks

Right click Taskbar, unlock it. Right click Quick Launch, check / uncheck Show Text to enable / disable icon names, check / uncheck Show Title to enable / disable Quick Launch title.

Thank You for this Oldie but Goodie

I'd long ago disposed of that title text in my main account, but I guess it's a per-user setting. When I logged in with the built-in admin account for the first time in ages, there it was and I'd long since forgotten how to fix it. So many thanks to you for the guidance and to the forum for not purging useful information just because it's old.
Even though QuickLaunch had to be manually added in Win7, I don't see how any advanced user could live without it; in addition to 8 visible most-used links, its vertical stack is as full of handy links as it can be without scrolling.
I'll have to give up my 7 Pro eventually, but I'll be among the last holdouts!
