    (Solved) Taskbar Transparency...

Hello, I'm new here and I have a bit of a problem. My laptop's graphic card is ancient in the sense, and does not support Aero effects, though I can use third party programs to replicate them. I have been using Transbar to make my taskbar transparent, but it makes everything transparent, including the icons, which is not a very desired effect. I was wondering if there's any programs out there that might make the taskbar by itself transparent, and not the icons on it.

On a side note, I have tried the registry "hacks" and they don't work for me, so third-party is my best bet.

    Thanks in advance. :)

There's no third party software available at the moment to enable aero transparency. If your graphics card does not support aero, you have to live with it or get a graphics card that support aero. :)

    Hope this helps.

Thank you D3ftOn3Z (Funky name ^^), guess I can wait and hope for a good programmer to release something like that.

Though, I have seem to have found a working replacement and it's doing a perfect job at simulating it. So all is well. :)

Funky name? Thanks. What program are you using now to enable the aero? You can share your tips here so that other users who don't have aero transparency can use your method.

There are some alternatives when dealing with a graphics card that won't support aero.
