    If I'm right, then you go to the Personalization menu, and click on Window Color. There, click on the Advanced option, and from the drop down menu choose selected items, and set the color how you will.

    Thanks but I am talking about the color that appears after you highlight something like to copy and paste.

    That should change it in applications like Firefox or Word. The actual GUI doesn't change due to limitations in programming.
