    Re-direct links that open a particuar post in a page


    When placing a link to another post in this forum, can anyone tell me how to set it up so that when the linked page is opened, it will show the particular post on that page to which the link refers.

    For example, I've done a link to post No 374 on Page 38 of the thread found here. The post is half way down the page, but when the link is clicked it opens at the top of the page, not on the post I want to display.

    I know it can be done, as it works in a link in a tutorial by Mr. Grim re-directing to one of my posts. This is the link in Mr. Grim's tutorial to post No 317 which opens on the actual post which is half way down the linked page: Windows Mail

    Any help would be very appreciated.

    Update: Problem fixed by Prisoner in post below.

    On the rop right of each post, there is a number (betting you've seen it.) Right click it and, depending on your browser, there should be an option to copy the link. Copy it, paste it in your post, and there you go. Fore example, your post here: Post
