    Changing Steam Icon

Hey im having some trouble trying to change my Steam icon, i only managed to change its tray icon because it is an .ico located in the Resources folder. But when i try to change the main Steam icon, which shows in the taskbar and in other places, i cant change it because when i right click it and select properties, 'Open file location' and 'Change icon' are both greyed out. Is there a way to change the icon? I tried Resource Hacker but that just kept saying 'Out of system resources'. Thanks in advance.

    Hi AzoWrath,

Try this tutorial: Desktop Icons - Change or Restore Default Icon

And/or read this thread: Can't Change Icon

And let me know how it goes!

    Cheers,

You should be able to edit the icon inside the exe file, by using reshacker or restorator.

    That would change the icon.
