how to Force window into secondary monitor?

I've got two monitors connected to my computer. There is an application that I want to open in the secondary monitor, however if I drag it over to the desired monitor it will still open in the primary monitor on next startup unlike most other programs.

So I were wondering if I can make some changes to the shortcut to force it into the desired monitor, either by adding some fancy stuff after the target of the shortcut or by launching it with some bat file etc.

    anyone know how? :P

    Thanks in advance

There must be a default setting within Windows somewhere. I have found after 5-10 times (or less) closing the app on the secondary monitor....it "learns" to open on that monitor. I suppose you have tried this and it's not working. If not.....close the app on that monitor 5 times and see if that does it.

I hope someone can help if this does not work

well it's a game actually, eve online, when running in window mode.
I've tried closing it and opening it several times already, so didn't work, thanks for the tip anyway Any other suggestions?

you might want to try this out - it works for most apps - Actual Multiple Monitors: Extend Windows Taskbar onto each display, setup multi- and dual desktop wallpapers and screensavers. - I have found it to be extremely useful
