    Recylcle Bin Pin to Taskbar (question)

    I pinned my recycle bin to my taskbar. Is there a way to make it so that..

    1. I can make it a 32x32 icon like on the superbar, and not have it expand my superbar vertically

    2. Be able to click and drag into the docked icon to send it to the recycle bin.

    I have no answer regarding the taskbar. But I can do what you want with my recycle bin in the Rocket Dock. - Just a suggestion for an alternative.

    How did you get the recycle bin into the taskbar?

    The fact that it expands the superbar vertically is exactly the reason I now use a desktop gadget for the recycle bin. I am pretty picky when it comes to the visual aspect. I see no way of avoiding the drawbacks you speak of.

    Hello Lloyd,

    You can create a new Recycle Bin shortcut using this path below instead, and change it's icon to any icon you like to use for this. I included this shortcut in a ZIP file below for you with the default Recycle Bin icon, but you may need to use a smaller 32x32 included icon if it's still to big.

    Code:

    C:\Windows\explorer.exe shell:::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}

    However, it will not be fully functional like this Recycle Bin Shortcut.

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn
