Darn Shortcut Arrows.
I followed Brink's tutorial to remove shortcut arrows with Win 7 64bit RC, and it worked great. Since RC expired, I loaded my new OEM version of Win 7 64bit Ultimate from New Egg and followed the tutorial and I'm having issues. What happens is, instead of removing the arrow, it places the default "no clue file" on top of the icon. What I mean by "no clue file" is, say you download a .pdf and dont have Adobe Reader, it gives a generic icon. The funny thing is it shows the real icon but with the generic one ontop. Just in case it matters, when I right click the blank icon it does not give me the block option. Please help. I despise the arrows!
Thanks,
Beebe
