Hi Catwoman ! Welcome aboard !!

Tuneup Utilities does not support live folder icon changing . You can do it easily and simply using Stardock Iconpackager , but that is not free . I have a free alternative technique ; https://www.sevenforums.com/943862-post22.html . You may try it , but for that you need custom live folders .

For any further assistance, feel free to ask

BTW , nice customization you have got there ; though I dont like scattered icons on the desktop ; they look cool as arranged in a dock , like this

If I use your free alternative tech, will I be able to change all, not some, of my icons with TuneUp Utilities icon packages? Thank you for the quick reply to my question.

You apply your tuneup utilities icon packager , and at the same time , change your folder icons using that technique . It would be a good idea .

Actually all the icons throughout the system can be changed with that process ... but why to do such a manual labour when you have bought tuneup ? Use the alternative to the places where tuneup fails only .

BTW ... got a pic that may be a nice avatar for you .....

Okay, I'll try your technique. But I'll wait til my techie friend comes over and help me with it. I'll let you know if it worked.

I like that pic, that's perfect! Thank you! I'll use it as my AIM pic. Regarding your comment about my icons, I do use Object Dock from Stardock for my programs. I have it placed vertically on the right side of my screen. I know what you mean about having too many random icons on the desktop. Thanks for your help.
