Vista-like Windows 7 Taskbar where taskbar turns solid!

I've searched everywhere for the answer to this!! I can't believe this isn't bothering anone else?

I love the translucent look of windows, but when I have a window in full screen mode, I want the taskbar to be solid!! this was standard in vista! A translucent taskbar and frame makes it look like the window you're using isn't full screen, and I see I get drawn to it every time! hate it (the only thing I hate so far!).

Any ideas anybody? I know I can make it solid all the time, but thats not what I want either, I just want it to turn solid when a program is in full screen.

Please help me on this one!!

    Hi and welcome.

I agree with you and my wife wanted it back to a solid blue.
    OK here is the steps
    1. Right mouse on Desktop and select Personalize.
    2. Select Windows Color at the bottom of the screen.
    3. Uncheck the Enable Transparency.
    4. Make sure you select the color you want. I still like dark blue and make sure you Color inensity is about 75%

Hopefully that does it for you.
