HELP!!!!

    HELP!!!!


    My desktop has the recent places folder on it and I cant get rid of it, I have no idea how it got there and It is cluttering up my desktop.

    Open the library folder in bottom left of taskbar to medium size not full screen.

    I circled it in the picture in yellow.

    Then look where I marked in yellow in the top left corner of my posted picture. That is where it should be.

    Grab the file on the desktop and set it under Favorites- Downloads.

    If your not familiar. Left click but hold down left mouse button move folder under Favorites Downloads and release mouse button.

    If there is a short cut left on the desktop right click and delete it.

    I did this on my PC on purpose to make sure it worked.

    I don't know then.
    I figured that was it.

    You could try Sytem Restore. If problem started this afternoon pick a point this morning or yesterday evening before the problem.

    That will put things back in their proper place and won't damage or delete anything.

    Ever do a system restore?
    If not use Method One.
