    Slideshow Desktop problem


    Hello

    I just changed to a new graphics card (from an ATI Radeon 4550 to an eVGA Geoforce 9800 GT) and after installing the nVidia drivers, I lost my desktop slideshow, and I can't seem to get it back. There is nothing in the nVidia control panel that seems to be desktop slideshow related (could be wrong!) and re-selecting and changing themes multiple times hasn't fixed the problem.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Hello Iwbastion,

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

    Is there no option for it under Desktop Background from the Personalize Window? I assume you have tried themes with multiple backgrounds. Please keep us posted.

    Puzzlingly, I ran a game that ended up locking up (MW3, which has compatibility issues with post-win98) and to get out I ctrl-alt-del to get the task manager, and when I closed the game and came back to my desktop my desktop slideshow was working normally.

    Still at a loss as to why it wasn't working before, but now it seems to be fine.

Desktop slideshow frustrations

I really LOVE a dynamic desktop & it was one of the reasons I originally upgraded to Win 7, but I'm sure I'm not alone in the way it's set up. I sometimes point it to folders with upwards of 800 pics, & invariably as I work through unticking those I don't want I accidentally miss & the whole lot...
I have set my desktop slide show to change every 1 day however my wallpaper has not changed in 3 days does anyone know a fix. I thought it counted when the computers off. Apparently is changes the same time you first set it but its not working for me can someone help.
