    Hiding HDD's in explorer?

    Greetings,

    In Windows Explorer I have 2 HDD partitions (one for each HDD) that are listed in the file/folder tree. They are the "System Reserve" partitions that are 100mb each. I'm sure these partitions are required, and can't be deleted...

    I would like to just remove them from the tree.. "hide" them while in explorer... is this possible?

    thanks

    If you use them as storage you can take them offline and put em back on as you want

    right click on my computer and click manage
    go to Storage=>Disk Management=>
    find the one you want to take offline
    right click on it and selct offline

    when you want to use it again you can set it back to online without having to restart

    Actually you can simply remove their drive letters (from the same place that andru suggested). If a partition has no drive letter it won't show in Explorer.

    Removing the drive letter worked... thanks... I wonder why Windows finds it necessary to add drive letters to those small partitions?

    Thanks
