    For the peeps who don't know how to change their start orb;

    1. Download the Start Orb Changer.
    2. Download any start orb you like (or in this case, an entire collection of orbs).
    3. Open the Start Orb Changer.
    4. Accept any UAC prompts.
    5. Click on "Select & Change start button".
    6. Navigate to the start orb you want, and double click it.
    7. Exit the program, and tadaa.

    are any of these 'animated'?
    If you mean animated as in if they change when you hover the mouse over them and click on them, then yes.
    If you mean if they move without you touching them (e.g. like a .gif file), then no. That is impossible for as far as I know.

    Hope that this helps anyone:)

    Wow! This is amazing! Too bad my Windows 7 tends to revert to the original Start button when explorer.exe is restarted.

    Thanks for this. Does anybody have any links to tutorials/info on creating your own icons?

    I use a small taskbar and most the icons don't fit. Editing current icons isn't suitable due to the alpha/layer masks.
