Just wondering if there's away to increase the quality of some of the Win7 Icons?

I suppose that you could replace the default icons with ones that you would prefer instead. The tutorial below can help show you how to.

Hi Mista ! Win 7 icons are generally of good quality . The contain from 16*16 res to 512*512 res and contains various color channels ! In different places, and different looks, the icons changes so easily due to that factor . As windows dont support icons with res more than 512*512 res till date, the quality improvement in that sense is not possible.

But if you have some high res icons with all the appropriate layers, you may customize icons as per the tutorial prescribed by Shawn .
