    Problem with x64 WMP

Just seeing if anyone else has had this problem. When I run 32bit media player from the pinned taskbar (the default), The icon highlights like it is supposed to and media player opens. When I modify the icon to launch the x64 bit version, when I click on it, it doesn't highlight the icon, instead another media player icon pops up over on the right and that one has the highlight on it. So while it is open, I have two icons down on the taskbar for WMP.

Hm - verified on Build 7077....

You could try doing Windows Media Player (WMP) - Vista Forums and seeing if that helps you to use hte 64bit player as your default....

Yeah, that's been happening with all the builds I have used. I'm using the 7100 RC and it still does it.

Haven't found a way to make WMP x64 the default as yet - Vista instructions don't work any more.
